A bio-fertilizer which could reduce urea fertilizer usage for rice by 50%

Mrs. Thilini Perera (Lecturer, Department of Plant Sciences ) was developed a bio-fertilizer in order to fulfill her post graduate (PhD) research  under supervision of Prof. T. L. Shamala Tirimanne. This bio-fertilizer had been produced by using Azorhizobium caulinodans. This innovated environment friendly bio-fertilizer can reduce  urea fertilizer usage by 50%. for more
