Career & Personal Development I (EC 1015) is an enhancement Course with a weight of 1 credit, offered to the first year undergraduates in the first semester. This course would build bridges on how a student converts him /herself to a life of a professional.

SYLLABUS

EC1015 introduces the first year undergraduates about the concepts of personal development. The contents will deal with aspects such as managing emotions, achieving autonomy and interdependence, developing mature interpersonal relationships, establishing identity, developing purpose, developing integrity at an introductory level, through full day workshops (one per semester) and a few related activities during both semesters.

DISCOVERY

The first year program revolves around “Self Discovery” and taking them through a maze of topics and tools so that they understand their potential and mold their thinking to build a career / life plan for their future.

ASSESSMENT

One hour paper Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) or Structured.

Examination paper is made by the relevant moderator of the workshop and it is based on the two workshops, movie and the panel discussion
