Ms. Thejani Fernando, an alumni of Department of Physics, who is currently working at Mician GmbH, Germany has arrived in Sri Lanka. Her company has developed a software for simulating microwave-guide structures like filters, antennas, couplers, multiplexers, polarizers, resonators etc and she believes that this would be a good software for us to use in our teaching and research activities. Her company has also agreed to offer the software to our department free of charge

 

Ms. Thejani is happy to give a brief presentation on the use of this software and therefore, a presentation is scheduled to introduce this new software to the academic staff of Dept. of Physics on         Thursday, 8th December 2016 at  10.00 am at PLR II. Your attendance is much appreciated.
