Centre for Transdisciplinary Biotechnology Research

Entries from undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Science are invited for a logo for the above center. The goals, vision and mission of the center are as follows:

Goals

• To promote high quality, transdisciplinary, cutting-edge research in biotechnology.
• To train human resources, disseminate knowledge and to coordinate and provide expertise in the discipline to contribute towards sustainable national economic development.

Vision:

• To be a center of excellence in transdisciplinary biotechnology research, training, and education in the Sri Lankan State University system.

Mission

• To create opportunities for research, training, and education in biotechnology at the interface of multiple disciplines, in order to drive innovation in biotechnology.
