Igniting Insight Through Data and Discovery<\/span><\/i><\/h4>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Mini Hackathon 2025 is organized by the Stat Circle of University of Colombo in collaboration with Octave as a part of the 3rd International Conference in Data Science in Sri Lanka (ICDS 2025).<\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative aims to foster the next generation of data-driven problem solvers by providing a platform for emerging statisticians and data enthusiasts to enhance their analytical thinking, strengthen programming skills, and tackle real-world challenges using innovative, data-centric approaches. Beyond promoting statistical excellence, the Mini-Hackathon 2025 also seeks to raise public awareness of data-driven solutions and their impact on society.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event is open to undergraduates from both state and private universities in Sri Lanka and Universiti Malaya. It will be conducted in a semi-virtual format featuring multiple engaging phases.<\/span><\/p>\n
