Tips and Tricks on how to Patent your Research Work<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n

Intellectual property (IP) protection, commercialization of R&D has become a less pursued area under the University work. However, applied research also should be an integral part of academic life and University-Industry interaction is a must to accomplish this aim. Such a link will undoubtedly assist the universities in expanding their research areas as well as enhance the research & development culture in the industry. IP plays a huge role in forming these linkages as it creates a platform for a proper transfer of Technology created within the university system. Proper management of IP can be instrumental for universities to disseminate their knowledge to be used in the economic sector.<\/p>\n

This workshop would mainly focus on the important role played by IP, protection of IP, proper management of IP assets, and mechanisms of commercializing innovations produced by university researchers.<\/p>\n
