Mini course on Dynamical Systems – Stability, Bifurcation Analysis and Applications
In this introductory workshop, stability and bifurcation analysis of dynamical systems, some real-world applications and numerical computation of dynamical systems are discussed. The aim of the course is to introduce the field of dynamical systems theory and applications to advanced undergraduates.
Content:
- Part I: Dynamical systems theory with an emphasis on their stability, bifurcations, and real-world applications.
- Part II: Numerical computation: how to model and analyze dynamical systems using real data with emphasis on the logistic, predator-prey and SIR models.
