Title: “Small but mighty: small RNA Molecules that shape life”
Synopsis of the seminar:
Protein synthesis is one of the most important processes that govern every aspect of life, from metabolism to reproduction. Specific proteins known as transcription factors regulate the protein synthesis especially in development. SMALL RNA molecules known as micro RNA (miRNA) regulate the transcription of most regulatory genes. I will discuss biogenesis, mechanism of gene regulation and their significance in development, and other life processes.
