The Centre of Transdisciplinary Biotechnology Research was established to promote high quality, transdisciplinary, cutting-edge research in biotechnology, to train human resources, to disseminate knowledge, to coordinate activities and provide expertise in the discipline, within the framework of ethical, legal, and societal implications; to encourage the commercialisation of valuable outputs and products, where possible, to contribute towards sustainable national economic development
