Kottegoda Gnanalankara Thero Scholarship for Mathematics
For Level II Students
Applications are invited from Level II students who qualify under the following criteria for the award of the Kottegoda Gnanalankara Thero Scholarship for Mathematics.
Eligibility Criteria
- The family income divided by the number of dependent children and parents should not exceed Rs. 5,000/- per month.
- Should not be employed.
- Should be from the Southern or Western Provinces.
- Should not have been found guilty of misconduct.
Academic Qualifications
- Minimum 'B' grade in both Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics courses.
- Minimum 'C' grade in all other courses.
Please note that the scholarship will be awarded based on the results of the First Year Examination in Science and will be tenable for one year.
Application Submission
Qualified candidates are requested to submit their applications together with First Year academic records and a Grama Niladari Certificate to the Department of Mathematics Office on or before 30 June 2026.
