Mindwell Programme
In today’s fast-paced world, many individuals find it challenging to navigate stressful situations. Recognizing the importance of mental health, the Faculty of Science is proud to introduce Mindwell, a new initiative dedicated to enhancing student well-being.
Introduced under the guidance of the University Medical Officer and in collaboration with the Faculty Counselling Team, this programme is designed to identify and address the academic, emotional, and social challenges faced by students.
Mindwell is a voluntary programme launched primarily aiming at the Level I students, beginning with an online questionnaire that helps assess overall well-being and enables timely support where needed.
This introductory video, developed with the invaluable support of Mrs. Chamali Ahangama, a professional Psychological Counsellor, embodies our commitment to fostering a healthy, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. The self-evaluating questionnaire will be published subsequently for you to assess your own health and well-being and seek professional support if needed.
