Online Registration of Mahapola Scholarship(2024/2025 Intake of Students)

Please follow the following steps when you do online registration.

1. Visit the Mahapola.lk website.
2. Click on: https://mahapola.lk/BankApp2025/
3. Enter your National Identity Card (NIC) number.
4. Fill in all the details correctly, especially your account number, branch number, and branch code.
   

   General Instructions

   1. Apply via https://mahapola.lk/BankApp2025/ on or before 17.08.2026 using your NIC.
   2. Be careful when entering your bank account details. Once the declaration is submitted, the editing process will be enabled.
   3. Only Bank of Ceylon (BOC) or People’s Bank accounts are accepted.
   4. Deactivated accounts or joint accounts will not be accepted.
   5. Mahapola appeals can be submitted to the UGC before 15.10.2026.

Further, the following documents are requested to be handed over to the Dean’s Office on or before 18th August 2026.

• Printed copy of the declaration form that was submitted to Mahapola, with your signature.
• A copy of the bank account details certified by the relevant bank.
• National Identity Card (NIC) and University ID Card.
