CANEKERATNE PRIZE FOR GENERAL MERIT

Applications are invited from those who have obtained a First or Second Upper Division in a Special Degree from this University, and also has considerable achievements in extra curricular activities, for consideration of the award of the above prize. 

Extra curricular activities will include Captaincy or Colours in a University “A” team, achievements in Debating, Oratory, Producer of a Play for a recognized Society of the University or playing a leading role in a Play, winner of Gold/Silver/Bronze Medal in University cultural or similar activities. 

The applicant should be very good in his/her academic work and attendance and excellent in conduct throughout the entire period spent in the University. 

Applications should be submitted according to the attached format to reach “Senior Assistant Registrar/ Faculty of Science” on or before 25.07.2025, 12.00 noon with documentary proof of his/her eligibility.
