Yes, you need to apply for medical approval through the SIS. To do this, navigate to:
Medicals → Apply Medical → Add Registration Number

Then:

  • Enter the relevant semester
  • Select the correct course unit from the dropdown menu
  • Enter the exam date
  • Click “Add” to submit your application
  • Course registration through the Student Information System (SIS) is usually enabled at the beginning of the 1st semester. Students are required to register for courses for the entire academic year during this period.
  • Course changes are allowed only within the official add/drop period. Once the add/drop period is over, courses cannot be changed without obtaining permission from the Dean.
  • However, students are allowed to modify their 2nd semester course selections during the add/drop period at the beginning of the 2nd semester.

Examination registration through the Student Information System (SIS) is usually enabled approximately one month before the examination period. Students will be informed via an email notification sent by the ITSC once the registration period is open.

Repeat and medical course registrations are handled through a separate portal in the Student Information System (SIS), Through the Repeat registration portal.

Students registering under the medical category must also complete the repeat registration process first. After completing the registration, they should update their status from “Repeat” to “Medical.”

To change the status, students may contact the ITSC. Please note that the medical status must be officially approved (e.g., marked as “Added to Student” or “Approved by the Faculty Board“) before the status can be updated..

  • If your medical status is shown as “Added to Student” but your results still appear as “Repeat,” you should contact the ITSC to request a status correction. The ITSC will update your record to reflect the correct medical status after verification.

All students are required to register for courses during the official add/drop period. If you miss the course registration period, you must obtain approval from the Dean Sir before you can register for any courses. Once approval is granted, please contact the ITSC

If you miss the examination registration deadline, you must first obtain approval from the Dean Sir to proceed with registration. If the request is submitted too late, you may be required to sit for the examination under the Unauthorized category.

After receiving approval (if granted), you should contact the ITSC

In normal circumstances, you cannot drop a course after registration once the semester has commenced. However, under special circumstances, you may be allowed to drop a course or courses by obtaining prior approval from the Dean

First, the student must inform the relevant laboratory coordinator or lecturer in charge. Then, the student should submit the medical certificate to the coordinator or lecturer in charge of the laboratory course for approval and further processing.
