After submitting medical documents to the Medical Office, is there any additional action required in SIS?
Yes, you need to apply for medical approval through the SIS. To do this, navigate to:
Medicals → Apply Medical → Add Registration Number
Then:
- Enter the relevant semester
- Select the correct course unit from the dropdown menu
- Enter the exam date
- Click “Add” to submit your application
What is the procedure for course registration through SIS?
- Course registration through the Student Information System (SIS) is usually enabled at the beginning of the 1st semester. Students are required to register for courses for the entire academic year during this period.
- Course changes are allowed only within the official add/drop period. Once the add/drop period is over, courses cannot be changed without obtaining permission from the Dean.
- However, students are allowed to modify their 2nd semester course selections during the add/drop period at the beginning of the 2nd semester.
How do I register for examinations using SIS?
Examination registration through the Student Information System (SIS) is usually enabled approximately one month before the examination period. Students will be informed via an email notification sent by the ITSC once the registration period is open.
What is the procedure for registering repeat or medical courses in SIS?
Repeat and medical course registrations are handled through a separate portal in the Student Information System (SIS), Through the Repeat registration portal.
Students registering under the medical category must also complete the repeat registration process first. After completing the registration, they should update their status from “Repeat” to “Medical.”
To change the status, students may contact the ITSC. Please note that the medical status must be officially approved (e.g., marked as “Added to Student” or “Approved by the Faculty Board“) before the status can be updated..
My medical status appears as “Added to Student,” but my results show “Repeat.” How can this be corrected to reflect medical status?
- If your medical status is shown as “Added to Student” but your results still appear as “Repeat,” you should contact the ITSC to request a status correction. The ITSC will update your record to reflect the correct medical status after verification.
