Awareness seminar on Gender-based harassment at universities

Gender-based harassment is a serious workplace issue that can bring about various psychological, physical and work- related consequences to victims. In addition, it can also lead to increased financial stress for the victims because they can be forced to leave jobs or change jobs to avoid harassment. In fact, harassment can significantly alter a person's career attainment. Within this context, this awareness session will highlight important aspects of gender-based harassment and detail the legal and policy avenues available to victims.
