External Degree Convocation 2021 - University of Colombo

The Convocation of the External Degrees 2021 was held on 12^th March 2023 at the Vidya Jyothi Professor V. K. Samaranayake Auditorium, University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) for the conferment of Degree of Bachelor of Information Technology, Degree of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Automation Technologies and the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering offered by the UCSC and the ‘Cyber Campus’, Centre for Open and Distance Learning of University of Colombo. The Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne presided During the convocation, a total of 267 degrees were conferred.

Out of the above degrees, 60 students who followed external degree programs in the Faculty of Science were awarded Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Automation Technologies and the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering as follows:

Degree of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Automation Technologies – 20
Degree of Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering – 40

During this ceremony, a total of 11 diplomas offered by the “Cyber Campus”, Centre for Open and Distance Learning of University of Colombo were conferred as follows;
