THE ASIAN SCIENTIST 100
Every year since 2016, Asian Scientist Magazine compiles a list of Asia’s most outstanding researchers. This list recognizes and acknowledges the accomplishments of researchers in the Asiatic region. To be acknowledged on this list, the honoree must have received a national or international prize in the preceding year for his or her research. Alternatively, he or she must have made a significant scientific discovery or provided leadership in academia or industry.
At its 8th edition, Prof. Chandana Jayaratne and Dr. Chathurangana Jayasinghe, two of the academic staff members of the University of Colombo have been recognized and listed on the Asian Scientist 100 for the year 2023.
