Job Specification – Executive (International Marketing and Sales)

This position is based at our head office in Colombo. The successful candidate will report to the Manager – Customer Management Department, and will be groomed to handle commercial activities and operations related to supply chain management along with marketing and sales of Haycarb products and services in various overseas markets. The person will be responsible for communication between Customers, the central sales office in Colombo and the company manufacturing locations in Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia. Other job roles include any other departmental work that will be allocated by the senior management that this position will be reporting to.

Applicant’s skills

  • A Bachelor degree from a recognized university in the field of Supply chain Management, Logistics, Marketing management, International Business. An Engineering or Science degree holder interested in a career in B2B marketing and sales is also welcome to apply. An MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge or experience of supply chain logistics would be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in any of the following: Marketing / Management / B2B Sales and Marketing / Project management / Business and Product development / International Business / Supply chain management will be added advantages
  • Ability to research and assist in building new businesses in overseas markets is required
  • Excellent knowledge of English – Speaking/Reading/Writing (Essential)
  • Knowledge of foreign languages would be an advantage
  • Customer service and relationship building skills are essential and confidence in ideas delivery is a must
  • Ability to travel overseas for customer meetings essential
  • Should be able to manage time well and have excellent coordination skills
  • Should be a sociable team player
